Assistant Manager (Civil) (2X660MW)

Grade : E1

Qualification : Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 60 % marks

Experience : 2-3years of post qualification experience in the executive cadre in the relevant area in a Govt./PSU or private company of repute. Must have experience in a power plant of capacity not less than 100 MW.Responsibe forsurvey,planning,estimation,preparation of technical specifications, layout, execution of jobs related to buildings, water supply, sewerage system and roads. Shall be responsible for construction and maintenance the civil structures . Shall be responsible for coordinating activities between OPGC, Contractors, Consultant. Perform a variety of administrative duties as well as responsible for EHS and other relevant compliances, provide budget forecasts, Capex Budgets, formulating strategy and cost minimisation.Prepare MIS for all activities.

Assistant Manager (Chemists)OPGC-II (2X660MW)

Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering / MSc in Chemistry with minimum 60% of marks. MBA in Environment Management will be preferred.

Experience :  2 -3 years of post-qualification experience in the executive cadre in the relevant area in a Govt./PSU or private company of repute. The candidate must have similar experience in a power plant of Unit size not less than 210MW and must have excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills. Must be conversant with CW/BCW/RW/ & chlorination/chemical treatment system, Steam-Water chemistry, Lube Oils and Lubricants, Flue Gas Analysis, Coal Quality Analysis, Stack emissions and Effluents treatment. Ability to resolve problems independently and operate efficiently under pressure. SAP Experience is an advantage.

Assistant Manager – Maintenance (Mechanical) (2X210MW)

Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or any other equivalent engineering discipline with minimum 60% marks

Experience :  2 -3 years of post qualification experience in the executive cadre in the relevant area in a Govt./PSU or private company of repute. The candiadte must have experience of in a power plant of unit size not less than 210MW with a good amount of hands on experience of working in Turbine & Auxiliaries Mechanical Maintenance. Conversant with modern maintenance management tools like CMMS,RCA,RCM practices. Responsible for spare parts planning, inventory control and planning for annual overhauling/capital overhauling, renovation and modernization works, execution of reliability centred maintenance practices and administration of maintenance management system. Responsible for Start Up, Synchronization, Shut Down and Emergency Handling of BTG from DCS by keeping a close watch on the parameters of BTG and following the SOP on Operation Techniques. Power generation operations of main plant & auxiliary system with the knowledge of Black Start Procedures, Contingency planning and emergency preparedness in order to handle the emergencies. Knowledge in Grid Management, System control, Scheduling, Dispatch, Fuel Management, Power Plant Chemistry, fuel oil handling, Condenser cooling water system, bearing cooling water system, raw water system, and ash disposal system.
